2nd class student from Kishtwar tops NSTSE test in J & K.

Kishtwar: Atiba Batool Sirwal of Asrarya Valley Public School Kishtwar brings laurel not only to his parents but also the entire Chenab valley by claiming first position in “National Level Science Talent Search Examination” commonly known as NSTSE held recently in Kishtwar along with other students from different parts of the country, besides in India the test was also held simultaneously in 14 different countries of the world. Atiba was honored in a glorious function held in the premises of Boys Higher Secondary School Kishtwar organized by Impact Tutorials. The function which was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Guldev Raj Baghat was attended by the various dignitaries, who provided the medals and certificates to the students who participated in this examination from Kishtwar and got various positions in this examination at local level, but the 2nd class student Atiba Batool, the daughter of Manzoor Ahmed Sirwal, who was recently awarded with best teacher award, brings the joy and happiness among the people of Kishtwar by linching the first position in 2nd standard in Jammu and Kashmir. While presenting the trophy and certificate to 7 years old Atiba, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar said that the role of parents is very important in providing the quality education to their wards and said that more such steps need to be taken to increase the strength of the students in tests like NSTSE, so that these children’s get opportunity to prepare themselves for national level competitive examinations. He urged up on the parents to keep an eye on the activities of their children for their better future. He stress for quality and moral education to the children and said that moral education is the need of the hour. Mr Baghat also appreciated the role of Impact tutorials for organizing tests like NSTSE. He assured them of every possible help for organizing such tests in future as well. On this occasion Impact Tutourial also honored Madia Shabir Kamal with trophy and certificate for claiming first position in 10+2 examination for the year 2010 declared by the State Board of School Education Jammu recently.
