Doda scribes stage demo in support of valley colleagues

DODA: The local media persons under the banner of Chenab Valley Journalists Association (CVJA) including Journalists of Doda, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Ramban and others parts of the region held a protest demonstration at Doda against the media gag by the government. Weaing black armbands holding palte cards with different slogans, the journalist passed through different markets and streets of Doda town and raised slogans. Later they met DDC Doda and submitted a memorandum. The Association Members strongly condemned the restrictions on the movement of Journalists, curbs and attack on them. DDC Doda gave a patient hearing and assured all the Journalists that he will forward their demands to the concerned authorities.
